Conference Information

Good jobs are the foundation of strong communities. Conference participants will learn about a wide range of initiatives that are taking place right now to promote good jobs and build strong communities both locally and provincially. You will also have an opportunity to work with others to develop your own strategies for strengthening the labour movement in your communities.


The conference will be held at the Best Western Hotel in Terrace. 4553 Greig Ave, Terrace, BC

Who Should Attend?

Current and upcoming local and regional union leaders and staff are encouraged to attend. More than 75 activists are expected to participate.

How to Register

Participants can register individually. Conference and accommodation costs are the responsibility of each participant. Please discuss funding with your union local or provincial body as applicable. Register Here

Registration Fees:

Regular Fees: $250 (for registration after April 28, 2015)

New registrations will not be accepted after 5:00 pm, May 15, 2015. Union locals can block purchase registrations prior to the early bird deadline to pay the early bird fee and provide the participant information any time up until the registration deadline on May 15.

Registration – Daytrip to Nisga’a Nation - May 21

Please note that the Daytrip to Nisga'a is now full and registration is closed.

Registration includes return transportation by coach bus with washroom facility, entrance fees and lunch.

Join us on a trip through the Nass Valley to visit the Nisga’a Nation. The trip will include an opportunity to view the natural beauty of the region including lava fields, a visit to the Nisga’a Museum to see the work of Norman Tait, and a visit to the Nisga’a Lisims government building.

Please note this is a full-day trip.
